One LA is re-building the public in public education in two High School Feeder Patterns: Jefferson HS Feeder Pattern in South LA and University HS Feeder Pattern in West LA.  This campaign launches with hundreds of community conversations. These conversations lift up the interests of teachers, parents, administrators, staff and community members and surface new leaders - crossing lines that usually divide.  Leaders in each feeder pattern conduct research actions to understand the context of emerging themes from the community conversations.  These research actions lead to public action and the formation of a collective of leaders in each feeder pattern that has the capacity, sustained over time, to stand for the diverse interests of the community.
