The One LA Freedom Schools is a strategy that teaches people how to organize workshops and sessions in their communities, institutions, and homes that teach people how to resist assaults on their civil rights and liberties.
Since June 6, 2025, people in Los Angeles County have been outraged with the tactics and civil rights abuses used by ICE agents. There is also widespread fear and feelings of powerlessness due to the recent immigration raids in Los Angeles County. This strategy is a way for people to take action with others inside their institutions and across the county.
