One LA was instrumental in the creation of My Health LA (MHLA) and fought to ensure that the program was fully funded. MHLA currently provides health coverage to over 146,000 people in Los Angeles County who would not otherwise have access to health care.
Unfortunately, MHLA is under threat because enrollment numbers have exceeded projections. The LA County Board of Supervisors is considering disenrolling people to save money. St. John's Well Child and Family Center, a One LA member institution, has developed an online petition that you can sign to express your support for preserving MHLA.
